Datamart Row-Level Security
So I'm excited to try out the new datamarts, but is there or will there be a way to do RLS dynamically like in the desktop version? I can't use the current version of the RLS offerings because 1) there's a fair amount of change between security groups and 2) it would mean maintaining over 100 different security groups per datamart which is extremely unfeasable.
Any further info or assistance on a workaround would be extremely helpful.

Based on your description, you could need dynamic RLS with a hierarchy.

As I mentioned, I am currently using the solutions you provided and they've been working well for the past year. The issue is that the RLS is structured differently in the new Datamart models. For a dataset, I'm restricted to "Column equals value" type statements and can't put a DAX function in as shown in the screenshot below.
I did try to just paste the DAX expression in, but that doesn't work. So as per my original question, is there a timeline to put PBI Desktop-style RLS in place for Datamarts or is there something I'm missing?

It doesn't have many votes, but it seems like I'm not the only one who needs the dynamic option for datamarts.
