Dataflows web connection error
Hello When am trying to connect to a web page in dataflows, i am getting an error what is it? any tips? am not able to configure gateway, why gateway is required if am getting data from web ? How...
am using web-api which doesnt require gateway, also the data is online not on my pc, why it should need a gateway?
"online" and "online" are two separate things. You need a gateway if the Azure service cannot directly see your data source. For example a website on the company intranet requires a gateway.
You also need a gateway for an online/cloud source if you are combining/merging it with an on-premise data source in Power Query (hint: Don't ever do that).
