Dataflow type inconsistency / bug

This is a bug report. I just set up a dataflow that has a Date column, yet Power BI Desktop loads that column as DateTime (yes I checked that there's no auto transformation of the data type in PQ on the desktop).

Hi @sebadb9, @otravers,

 

Thanks for reporting on this one.

We are investigating this issue.

As a workaround you can change in Power BI Desktop the data-type again to Date.
