I have a report connected to a dataflow. When I preview the dataflow tables, the data is correct. When I refresh the dataflow, it shows the refresh is successful. When I refresh the data model, it also shows the refresh is successful. When I open the report, the data is wrong. I am using a development pipeline to copy the report and dataflow to each environment. The issue did not occur when I moved from development to test, but has started failing when copied from test to production. This is a new issue. I have moved from test to prod without this issue occurring before and, because the dataflow preview is correct, I am inclined to believe it is on the PBI side (versus me forgetting to change server names, etc.).
By default power bi dataflow gen 1 show 99 rows only in the preview. Assuming you are using different datasources in different environments and you are switching the datasources during the migration from one environment to other. There could be multiple reasons for the data issue. Have you checked the data in the source?
regarding the issue while you are migrating form test to prod, can you have the screenshot of the error?
