I disabled TLS1.3 and it worked like a charm. Hope it helps others!
I get the message in UI as Installation was successful!
After I enter email to use with gateway and try to sign in it fails with "Network request returned unexpected error" logs show error stack posted earlier.
I'm validating if connectivity exists as mentioned in this link. please let me know if I'm missing anything. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-communication#ports
Most likely your network uses a proxy and you need to set that in the four config files.
