Data Model frequent changes and Power BI connection feasibility Best Approach

I have snowflake data for 5 tables, but the data model is constantly changing for them especially the column names. Even if the data model gets fixed now and there are some changes in it in future also, so I wanted to get the data from the three tables in Power BI (taking data model changes into consideration) from which 100 reports have to be generated:

I have four options below:

1) To connect to Snowflake and get data writing Snowflake Queries while connection.

2) To create views in Snowflake and get data into Power BI and publish the data and get the datasets in power Bi and reuse that dataset for different reports.

3) To create dataflows in power BI Service and then get the data from there.

I have three questions:

1) Which option would be best suited for my need?

2) Even if I choose option 3 then too I have to create views for my tables or not.

3) Is creating views would be a pre-requisite for any 2 and 3 option that I choose.

4) Can i use the tables as is to create dataflows or datasets in Power BI?

I wanted to know the best approach that i can take for this issue.

Hi @Dip123 

I think your third option is more appropriate . As data volume continues to grow , so does the challenge of wrangling that data into well-formed, actionable information. We want data that’s ready for analytics, to populate visuals, reports, and dashboards, so we can quickly turn our volumes of data into actionable insights . So dataflow is a good choice .
