Data Gateway Refresh Issue - All Values are Blank

Hi everyone,

 

I connected my data sources to Data Gateway. When I refresh the datasource, there is not any failure. Refreshing is successful. However, when I return to the report, all of my values are blanks. I don't know even what is the problem in here. Do you have any idea?

 

All of my data sources are Excel file.

 

GilbertQ have you ever seen this situation before?

    Same issue in my dashboard.

     

    Publish to the dashboard---value & visuals ok

    Refresh gateway data--value & visual blank

     

    Ask for help!!

      Yes Anonymous , same situation. Can't found any solution or explanation. Do u have any clue?

        Hi there

        Can you make sure that you do not have any visual filters on the report?

        Also can you ensure that you have got the latest version of the Gateway installed? The latest version is 3000.45.7

    Anonymous 

    Test with other dataset to check it only happens to the specific dataset or it is the problem of the gateway. 

    You could submit this issue to Issues Forum or Create a support ticket for a quick reply.

      Hi Anonymous ,

       

      I've tested an other report and dataset which does not have any slicer filter. It was also all blank. As you can see, no error for refresh. 

       

      Also GilbertQ , none of my reports includes parameters.

    Hi All,

     

    Tried to re-publish the reports to webpage but visuals are gone once refreshed in gateway.

    Suppose the problem comes from gateway refresh.

     

    Checked the datasets as well, no parameters changed. Wierdo. 😞

    Any one can help on this?

      Still can't solve the issue.

    I am facing the same issue, when the dataset is refreshed from PBI service, all the values show blank. Any update on this?

      Hi there

      Can you confirm you have got the latest version of the On-Premise Gateway installled?

      The latest version is 3000.45.7

    I get the same problem and I wonder if it is from permissions. I often have to go to an older version of the file. Why do the values go blank?

      Hello Anonymous ,

       

      When I couldn't get a solution from here, I've opened ticket. After some efforts, we identified the problem with Microsoft support team. There is a solution for this issue.

       

      Please check your regional settings of your report, for example, if your date format or number format is in Eng, then set your regional setting as Eng. These two should be equal. If you can't solve at once go ahead by trial and error method.
