Dashboard Link - Sharing Friction To View For End User
Hello,
When the users are trying to access the Dashboard link it’s redirecting them to the PBI Sign-up/Sign-in page(sign up option seems to be working). We are not having this same issue with the Report link.
We would like to share only the dashboard and not the report, so the end user can just scroll down on the Dashboard Canvas continuously to view different page content.
We have tried:
1. Putting the dashboard into an app
2. Seeing if there is a setting within Admin Portal that is causing the end users to jump through more hoops for sharing the Dashboard link compared to the report link.
After clicking through the two pop up screens, it allows the end user to see the Dashboard from the shared link. Some users do not click through and just assume it does not work.

We would like to share only the dashboard and not the reportThat's a little counter productive as the dashboard tiles always point back to the report visuals or pages that they were pinned from.
Sharing via the app would be the correct way for a Premium capacity. Not sure yet how this works with Fabric capacities.

A work arround would be to publish the dashboard into App and hide the report from audince, copy the URL of the app. Back to the dashboard settings of each tile and redirect or add the URL of the app to point the tile back to it. Save and update the App
