We were experimenting with the Dataflow feature and had partially setup a new Dataflow connection (but didn't complete it). About an hour later, the following error occurred when rendering Reports and Dashboards in ALL workspaces on the site.
Cannot load model
Underlying Errror: PowerBI service client received error HTTP response. HttpsStatus: 500. PowerBIErrorCode: OpenConnection Errror.
OpenConnectionError: Failed to open the MSOLAP connection.
There were no notices or warning that setting up a new dataflow connection could distrupt our entire Power BI Service. We opened a ticket with Microsoft and they were unable to solve the issue. We finally figured out to turn Dataflow off in Tennant settings and about an hour later things started working again. Any ideas on what happened here?
Thanks!
