Create app

Hi,

I want to create an App from Power BI Service. What I noticed is that the "Create app" button is only appeared in Workspaces beside "MyWorkspace". Just some curiosity, is there any reason on that ?

Hi there

That is because you can only create an app from an App Workspace

It is also suggested to put content into an App Workspace so others can gain access to the reports and dashboards

ooh ok, I think the 2nd statement explain it all. Reason to "only from App Workspace" is so that anyone received/installed the app can access it.
