Fabric Apps Rollout

The Fabric apps is not yet rolled out to all cloud regions. If there any plan to roll it out to other regions? out Fabric capacity is based on North Europe and am not able to create fabric apps based on it. When will it roll out to North Europe region.

    One key point to remember is that Fabirc apps availability is based on the region your capacity is in not your home regin. So, if you have capacities in another region you can work with them.

    Thanks everyone,

    It is not easy to set up a new Capacity in a different region.
    I mean, I know it is easy technically, but it is not easy due to the beaurocracy involved in certain companies.

    So, please, roll it out to North Europe !! 😉😉

    Hi shreyascompany ,

    Fabric Apps is currently a Preview feature, and Microsoft documentation states that preview features can have limited availability and may not be available in all geographic areas or regions.
     
    According to the official Fabric region availability documentation, Fabric Apps (Preview) is currently not available in North Europe. This is why you are unable to create Fabric Apps using a Fabric capacity hosted in the North Europe region.
     
    At this time, Microsoft’s official documentation does not provide any rollout timeline or ETA for when Fabric Apps (Preview) will become available in North Europe.
     
    One possible option is to use a Fabric capacity in a region where Fabric Apps (Preview) is available and associate the workspace with that capacity, depending on your tenant configuration and requirements.

     

    For organizations using Microsoft Fabric Multi-Geo, Microsoft supports creating capacities in supported regions other than the tenant home region, where applicable, based on business or compliance needs.

    Hello shreyascompany,

     

    At the moment, Fabric Apps (Preview) are being rolled out gradually and aren't available in all Fabric regions.


    Although North Europe supports Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Apps (Preview) aren't currently available in that region.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't announced a timeline for when they'll be enabled there.


    For now, the best option is to monitor the Fabric region availability documentation and the monthly Fabric updates for rollout announcements. If this feature is critical for your organization, you may also consider opening Microsoft support ticket or working with your Microsoft account team to inquire about regional availability.
