Connect two reports between env after deleting one.
Thanks aj1973 for your info but I believe I can propose a solution. My senior took the wheel and he managed to restore the connection.
We had a copy of our report, stored locally and what he did was:
- Unassigned dev workspace
- Uploaded report, connected to correct dataset
- Assigned dev workspace
- Waited for refresh
- Works!
I'm surprised that this successed but I believe Microsoft changed something in recent months, since this solution was failing months ago.
Before anyone will try this at home, please make sure that both environments contains the same since we had some errors with testing .pbix files and we had to delete them.

Unfortunatly once a report is deleted it loses its ID with it, that's why the connection is lost between Dev an Test.
You can't restore the report nor the connection.
