Computed Entity giving SQL error in dataflow refresh !

I have a computed entity inside a dataflow which is built from another dataflow that resides in an ingestion workspace.

The odd thing is that the refresh of this computed entity is giving a SQL related error.

Error: Data Source Error : Microsoft SQL: Transaction (Process ID 57) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

There is no SQL involved in this computed entity - its built from a linked entity.

Unless this SQL error message is related to the SQL cache that is part of the enhanced compute engine... ?
