Change Semantic Model
I have a series of reports from one semantic model (let's call it SMA), and I plan to make a duplicate of this model (SMB). SMB will be focused on reports that are facing audience B, while SMA needs...
Open the reports side by side.
In the new report connect to SMB.
Page by page on the "old" report highlight and copy all visuals.
Paste them into the same page in the new report.
Is this within the web view of powerbi? You're wording sounds like you're suggesting essentially copy and paste the visuals, but doesn't help advise on the semantic model update itself, so would like some more clarifying details please.
This advice is for Power BI Desktop. Open two instances side by side, one with Report A using SMA, the other with an (empty) Report B linked to SMB.
