These are the currently available workarounds to your issue, if the fail to meet your requirement then I would suggest to share a suggestion in ideas forum with the specific feature that you require Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community, where the product team actively monitors user feedback. Ideas with strong community support are more likely to be considered for future implementation. A dataflow is not suitable to be a single source of truth, it's more akin to the bronze layer in a data lake or data warehouse.
