Hi
I know there are a few posts in the forum about this but I got no solution from them. Yes I test-published a report to the web and now I want to delete it using "Manage embedded code". However the messages says "You don't have any embedded code". This is strange because firstly the publishing process went through and the link is created, and secondly I can apparently view the report in the web link created.
I tried looking around in different workspaces that I can access but just wasn't able to find it. Could you help please?
Thanks
So, you need to be in the Workspace in the Service where you created the publish to web embed code. Click gear icon and then Manage embed codes. Click the ellipses (...) next to the embed code and choose Delete.
As said in my post I did do that but can't find any.
But I did just publish it without being prompted to obtain admin's permission.
In passing, the new change only applies to organisation users but not to private users, right?
Sorry, meant to be for GilbertQ's advice.
Doesn't seem to be the case necessarily. I guess if you publish it from your work account only your colleagues are able to access it with a log in using work email address. But anyway my test report is not confidential.
Don't worry that's not important. I meant someone who use Power BI for e.g. personal interest or fun outside corporate environment. Irrelvant to my question.
Hi @charlie77 ,
As said by Greg, you will only view the embed code that owns by the current workspace. Would you please check if you are in the correct workspace.
If you can't find it, I suggest you log in to the admin portal with an admin account to delete it:

I did do that in the workspace for the report I published. I tried again today from a different workspace but the situation is the same - can't see any embedded codes. I tried admin portal and got a message "The Power BI Service was unresponsive in the following regions: Switzerland West. This is highly unusual. Please check the Azure and Office 365 status boards at the following links:Azure status,Office 365 status". I'm not sure whether this is relevant as I'm not in Switzerland West regions. Besides I can't see anything.
Hi @charlie77 ,
Since it is impossible for me to reproduce your problem, it is difficult to provide you with effective help.
One possibility is that this embedded code was deleted by your admin account before you view it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
