Dear All,
when i try to create a data agent in powerbi service, this message appears:
"It is not possible to create data agents in this workspace: an admin must change SKU type for organization's fabric capacity"
What should i do?
Hi @powerbricco
The reason you can't use a data agent is because it uses copilot under the hoods and reason using a fabric trail capacity or copilot. Items and things that use items are part of the restrictions.
Hi @powerbricco ,
What is the capacity you are using? Are you on a Preview workspace?
Has you can see on this link some Data Agents are only supported on F SKUS anbd P SKUS not trial.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi @powerbricco ,
If you are using a Trial License then you won't be able to access the Data Agents. Only option is to have a FSKU being the minimum F2.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsAre you using a fabric trial ?
you need to use a pay capacity for that
If you are using a paid capacity, ask to your admin to enable the right settings for data agent:
You can find all the prerequisites under the folloiwng link

Dear @Cookistador @ , I am using a trial version of Fabric :((((((((
A paid license is a lot expensive?
hi @powerbricco
it depends of the capacity size, you can use a F2 capacity in pay as you go mode , it costs around 0.35$ per hour
You have to switch off your capacity once you are done, normally you have some free credits with azure, you can use this credit for your trial purpose 🙂
