Copilot Agent Usage Report
Hi Guys,
Our team created a copilot studio agent and we want to know the usage report and make a power bi report out of it. Have anyone knows how to do it?

Hi hey_joo
You can start from the built-in Analytics area in Copilot Studio. Open the agent, go to Analytics, and check the usage/session metrics there first.
If you only need a quick or one-time Power BI report, you can download the session data from Copilot Studio as a CSV and connect Power BI to that file, or to a folder where you keep those exports.
For a more sustainable reporting solution, I would not rely on manual CSV exports. Make sure conversation transcripts and metadata are saved to Dataverse, then build your Power BI report on top of the Dataverse data, or look at the Copilot Studio Kit / Conversation KPIs, which provides aggregated KPI data and sample Power BI reports that can be used as a starting point.
A few things to check before building the report:
The environment must allow transcript saving/download.
The user needs the right permissions, such as Bot Transcript Viewer.
Transcript data may have retention/security restrictions.
Some scenarios do not write transcripts, for example Dataverse for Teams environments, developer environments, Microsoft 365 Copilot agents, and some SharePoint knowledge-source responses. So the practical path is:
Copilot Studio Analytics for standard usage view.
Download Sessions CSV for a simple report.
Dataverse / Copilot Studio Kit for a proper Power BI reporting solution. If this post helps, then please consider Accepting it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly
