Hi all,
I have been trying to access my onedrive using the get data/web option but everytime I paste the URL link it doesn't give me an option to input my password to access my folder. An error message pop up saying Detail: Access to the resource is forbidden.
Does anyone know how I can reset this to input my password?
Many thanks,
Liz

Hi,
I was able to work out how to connect directly to my sharepoint now.
- Power BI online you can use the current credentials and it will automatlly connect to your SharePoint
- Power BI desktop you will need to manually type in your credentials

HI @Anonymous,

Hi Xiaoxin,
I'm having the same trouble for sharepoint and Google sheet as it doesn't give me the option to add my user name and password in the Access Web Content pop up anymore.
I think when I first try to connect it, I used 'Anonymous" instead of 'Basic'. Now when I add the link again it doesn't give me the option to add my user name and password. There error I keep getting is the below error.
Feedback Type:
Frown (Error)
Error Message:
Unable to get property 'getBody' of undefined or null reference
Thank you,
Liz
Hi @Anonymous,
It sounds like you are using SharePoint on-premise connector to get data, it does not allow you to use OAuth authorizations modes.
Please refer to the following link to use web connector to get data from source file path:

Hi,
I tried following this documentation and it was very frustrating because an error message popped up: Unable to connect. We encountered an error while trying to connect. Details "Access to the resource is forbidden."
I believe 'using my current credentials' the Access web content screen the first time is not correct. It should advise to type in our own credentials but it's too late now because I can't seem to get the Access web content screen again.
How can I reset the settting of using my current credentials to type in it manually?

@Anonymous what is the data source you want to use from your OneDrive? If using OneDrive, you have to point the Web connector to one particular file. The link has to end with the correct file extension.
For example an Excel file on OneDrive should be open with Excel first and the proper path should then be copied from the properties page in Excel.
