Can not Upload report

Hello,
I have a specific report which none of our team members can upload to a service.
First we thought it was some capacitiy issue, but the report is 1,1 Gb and I tried to upload a 2 GB and it worked fine.
We tried everything, clearing cache, clearing eprmissions, reloggin, reinstalling to latest version of Desktop but nothing worked.
This is the only error We are getting (it aint giving much).
The problem is that we are a team of 8 and NONE of us can upload ONLY THIS one report?!?!?!
The report has only 1 source, which is coming from mssql, all other reports are using same source and they have no issues

Hello,
This issue has been "partially" resolved.
We found out that our VPN has started to cause this issue.
The interesting thing is that it is not on ALL Reports, it is just on some reprots (wiered).
but turning it OFF and publishing works.

Hi @Nick_123,

Thank you  for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
since everyone is seeing this only for this one PBIX and other reports are publishing fine, it looks like the service is dropping the connection while processing something inside this file. One thing you can try is publishing the report without data. In Power BI Desktop, go to File → Options and settings → Options → Current File → Data Load, enable Remove data from file, save the PBIX, and then try publishing. If that works, it usually means the issue is related to the model/data inside the file rather than capacity or permissions.

please go through with the below document hope it may resolve your Issue:

Hello, @v-hjannapu !
There is no such option to "enable, Remove Data from File" in PowerBI.

Hi @Nick_123,

Thank you for pointing that out and apologies for the confusion. You are correct there is no option such as Enable Remove Data from File in Power BI.

Since this issue occurs only with this specific PBIX and affects all users, and file size or data source are not contributing factors, this indicates a service‑side processing issue during the upload. In this case, further investigation requires access to backend logs.

I recommend raising a Microsoft support ticket Please refer below link on how to raise a contact support or support ticket.

Hi,

I think, what @v-hjannapu meant is to Clear Permissions from Data Source settings. It is mentioned in the link shared:

Clear cached credentials :

If you've previously connected to the published semantic model with different credentials or an expired token, cached credentials might cause connection issues. In Power BI Desktop, go to File > Options and settings > Data source settings, and then select Clear Permissions to clear any cached credentials.

Hello, @InsightsByV
Tried that too, I cleared Cache, Cleared permissions, Relogged and evne reinstalled PBI.
Did not work .

I see, please try raising a support ticket as @v-hjannapu suggested.
