Hi there,
I created a calculated table referencing an existing table in the data model. In my report I used a card visual to display the information from the calculated table, the information is visible on the Power BI Desktop but after I publish it to Power BI Service and refresh the dataset the visual stops working and gives this error.
Working on Desktop:
Not working on Service:
Is this a new issue because previously the visual was working fine on Service too? Any idea why it's happening?
Hi @khizar_pbi ,
Thanks Tutu_in_YYC and mariussve1 for the quick reply. I have some other thoughts to add:
1. Can you place the calculated column on the card visual object and will it report an error? If it reports an error please provide the error message.
2. Have you encountered this problem before? Was it displaying normally before.
3. As Tutu_in_YYC mentioned have you tried a scheduled refresh or manual refresh of the semantic model? Check the refresh history to see if the refresh reported any errors.

Hi,
Just try to run a refresh of the model in service.
If you use XMLA you can only calculate the model or table.
