Hey guys,
Im trying to create a live connection to data in an azure sql database
However, when i do click on the get data icon and click on the azure icon i get the message below. in some of the tutorials ive seen - there should be a "connect" button and not "download desktop" icon. can someone please help me figure out what im missing.
Thanks,

Hey,
I assume that the tutorials are a little older.
Just use Power BI Desktop to connect to your Azure SQL database. If you want to share your report / or data model that you created from the Azure SQL data source then you can publish the report to a workspace hosted in the Power BI service.
Hopefully, this is what you are looking for.
Regards,
Tom
