Per a recent notice, Microsoft is deprecating Shape Map visuals and recommending the use of Azure maps. However, when I view the admin portal Tenant settings there is no option to enable the option "Use Azure Map visual". How is this option enabled? The The options in the Admin portal tenant settings are shown below:

At this time, we don't have an exact date to implement Power BI for GCC. But we found version update information similar to this issue, we hope it will be helpful to you:
1.First, Power BI for United States government customers will be available for at least March 15, 2024. Here's a screenshot of the documentation:

2.Second, the Power BI app for Microsoft Teams has been available in the United States Government Community Cloud (GCC) since at least December 9, 2021.

Thanks for the response Leroy. Documentation does not provide a solution, since the software capability has not been implemented as of July 31st of 2024. Thus, still waiting for this to be released.
Thanks for the response Leroy! Looks like my Power BI uses will be waiting for the update. Which also identifies that I will need to be cautious to when I roll out an update due to the recent notice for deprecating legacy map visualizations.

Upon additional research:
Azure Maps integration into Power BI for government users is currently in preview, with some capabilities available. However, it’s not yet available in all regions, including Azure Government (GCC + GCC High)1. For the latest updates and detailed information, you might want to check the official Microsoft Azure updates or Power BI documentation."
Typically the government cloud version is updated within 30 days of general availability, however it's been longer than a year (May 2023). When is Power BI for GCC going to be implemented?
