Avoiding taking over dataset configuration

Hi,

If I want to set dataset parameters on powerbi.com with a different account from the one I published it I noticed that I have to take over configuration properties.

This is the reason why I can't edit parameters

Is it possible to avoid it?

Thanks

Hi @fdtAesys ,

Currently only report creator can update the parameter value in Power BI Service. If you just want to use the parameters to filter the data in the report, you can use the URL filter function as an alternative. In addition, it may only be like the method you mentioned earlier: let the other person take over your dataset to be able to update the parameter value...
