Auto Page Refresh for live mode Reports
Hi,
I have a report connected live to Semantic Model (other dataset). This semantic model will get refreshed for every 5 minutes. I wanted to set auto refresh my live report, but unfortunately i dont see that option. Any other workaround for this ?

If the assigned capacity supports automatic page refresh, the Power BI administrator can configure the minimum refresh interval in the Admin portal > Auto Refresh settings based on the requirement instead of keeping it at five minutes. The report page interval must be set to the same value or higher.

Solution Sage
The behavior you're seeing is expected.
Auto Page Refresh (APR) is only supported for reports that use DirectQuery, DirectQuery for Power BI semantic models and Analysis Services, or certain LiveConnect scenarios where the underlying source supports query execution. It isn't available for reports connected to a semantic model in Live mode that refreshes on a schedule.
Since your semantic model is refreshed every 5 minutes (Import mode), the report will display the latest data the next time it queries the semantic model, but the report page itself won't automatically refresh because APR isn't supported in this scenario.
Your options are:
Manually refresh the report page in the Power BI Service or Desktop to retrieve the latest data from the refreshed semantic model.
If near real-time updates are required, consider using DirectQuery (where supported) instead of an Import semantic model.
If you're using a DirectQuery for Power BI semantic models (composite model), Auto Page Refresh may be available depending on your model configuration and licensing.

Automatic page refresh is not supported for Live Connect to a Power BI semantic model. It only works for Direct Query and Live connect scenarios to Analysis Services not Power BI datasets
Workaround is you can switch the report to Direct Query or Direct Query for Power BI datasets to make auto refresh
