Auto Refresh
I have a dashboard that I have created, connected through the web to a spreadsheet that is saved on Sharepoint. I have published to Power BI service and the auto-refresh keeps failing and giving me the below error.
Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DMTS_OAuthFailedToGetResourceIdError","pbi.error":{"code":"DMTS_OAuthFailedToGetResourceIdError","details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Failed to get OAuth resource, please make sure the OAuth is supported"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}}

I have tried everything I can think of (+ everything Copilot has suggested) and I still can't seem to find the solution. My boss needs this to be up and running by next week...can anybody help please?
Hello BethM,
Thank you for the update and we really appreciate you confirming that.Based on everything shared so far, the behavior aligns with a Web-based SharePoint connection, which isn’t supported for reliable OAuth refresh in the Power BI Service. Resolving it requires rebuilding the dataset using the native SharePoint/OneDrive connector and republishing.
Best regards,
Ganesh Singamshetty.
