Athena ODBC Multiple Catalogs
Hello, we have an Athena ODBC set up and business partners can connect in Power BI Service. However, they only see one catalog: AwsDataCatalog (which is default). We currently have additional catalogs (cross account). How can we force the remainder of the catalogs to load so they can view all catalogs on this screen:
Thank you very much.

Hi catcollector ,
This behavior is not limited to Power BI, had the same problem in Excel. It could be either the Driver's limitation or something to do with the Driver-AWS interaction.
Here'a an exact same issue as you, the workaround is on the 'From ODBC' window where one is presented and prompted to select 'DSN', there's also an 'Advanced options' selection. Expand the 'Advanced options' selection pane, and fetch desired data by giving an SQL query in the 'SQL Statement' box.
Hope it helps!

v-yanjiang-msft I think I have located the connect to data source screen where I can add an SQL statement. Would you be able to tell me how I can fetch data from other catalogs in Athena? We currently have two other cross account catalogs. Where can I locate the statement to fetch these catalogs? Thank you!
