The product doco also does not cover this topic - I've pointed that out so hopefully that will get fixed.

Yes - ref the answers thread posted previously:
mike_honey : did you see any difference or know what if the guest user is given pro license for accessing the reports and guest user where reports are being shared using powerbi app . do you know or found any differences as such?.
