Aquarium Custom Visual Not Working

As there has been a recent update, I will share my own custom visual experience as it may be relevant.

In the past, I used the ticker tape visual. When an update to the service occured, some of the coding was no longer accepted. I contacted the creator via the custom visual gallery and let them know it was down. The creator updated the visual and I redownloaded a new version That version worked. the person who created the visual was unaware that the service updated had created an issue.

That being said, how long ago did  you download the visual? The reason I ask this is that I downloaded it today and just successfully published a report containing the visual to my workspace. It works for me. If it has been a while, perhaps redownloading it would work. You may also need to update your PowerBI Desktop version.  Secondly, did you try to publish to a group? I did not publish it to a group so I cannot test that theory at this time.

If neither of these is the case, verify that other custom visuals work for you and share that information here. Perhaps someone with inside information on custom visuals can chime in at that point. I don't make them, I just use them.
