Add Groups to report subscriptions on PPU?
Hello glearner ,
No need to create different paginated reports each time.
If the same report template is used for all 300 people, the rest is handled by dynamic subscription. The subscription will be executed 300 times with different parameters for each customer, for example (so the 300 executions will have the same template but with different data displayed).
You can also send to external users; there is a setting for this in the Fabric Admin section.Please feel free to give a kudo and validate the solution if it suits you.

In fact, what you want to do is not possible with your licensing level.
Have you tried data-driven subscriptions with Paginated Reports?

This allows you to store all the data related to your subscriptions in a DB/Table, and the subscription uses the data to send the information.
So if you have 300 users in your table, it will send it to all 300; if you have 250, it will send it to all 250...
All you have to do is keep this table up to date (automation is possible with an AD group content reader, for example).
Another solution, with your current solution, would be to use a Power Automate flow to generate the subscriptions.

Thanks so much for your answer, I think it migth a good workaround; however it would mean that I need to create a specific paginated for each subscription I'm currently managing, right ? I wonder if its worthwhile.
Moreover, this wouldn't allow me to email a snapshot of the reports to external recipients would it ?
If the answers to the questions above are yes, then I'm afraid the best is to stick with Power Automate, as time consuming and clunky as it is. That's unfortunate.

I should have clarified, we do not have 300 subscrptions, but those 300 users rely on circa 15 subscriptions. If I understand your method correctly, we would require to rebuild the unbique reports for each subscription, correct?
I was not aware we can now invite external users, that seems like a viable alternative. However these users do not have a microsoft user either, therefore the power automate alternative of sending a snapshot remains relevant, wouldn't you agree?
