Can not connect to the server

I logged into my lap from my ad account (####\KavyaD) and login in to power bi using the same account. but due to a security concern, we have separate account to login into servers (####\KavyaDAU) . ...

Thanks for sharing the update.

The error you are now seeing "Loading assembly file 'System.EnterpriseServices, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' failed for data source type 'SQL'" is usually related to missing or corrupted .NET Framework components that Power BI depends on. You can try the following:

  1. Ensure that the .NET Framework is properly installed and up to date on your machine. Repair or reinstall the .NET Framework if required.
    Microsoft provides .Repair the .NET Framework - .NET Framework | Microsoft Learn.
    .NET Framework & Windows OS versions - .NET Framework | Microsoft Learn

  2. Make sure Windows and Power BI Desktop are updated to the latest versions.

  3. Clear saved data source credentials from Data Source Settings -> Edit Permissions, then re-enter the SQL credentials.

  4. If the issue persists, try reinstalling Power BI Desktop after repairing .NET.
