Does anyone know what web server does the Power BI report server web portal use as I need to change my hostname?

It's embedded within the software.

Can you use DNS?

Actually, I want to use a user-friendly name instead of my server hostname in the Power BI Web portal URL, and I have tried various methods mentioned on the internet, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas, please?

I would get your infrastructure team to create a DNS record, with your desired friendly name, that points to your server.

Users can then use that friendly name.
