I installed Power BI Report Server (Version 1.1.6582.41691 (October 2017) ), Power BI Desktop (Version: 2.51.4885.2501 64-bit October 2017) and SQL server 2017 on same machine.
On Power BI Desktop, I made a very simple report, the datasource is a local excel file, it works well and after publish (save as) it on report server, when access it on web portal,
If has error:
Something went wrong
We couldn't run the report because we couldn't connect to its data source. The report or data source might not be configured correctly.

We couldn't connect to the Analysis Services server. The server forcibly closed the connection. To connect as the user viewing the report, your organization must have configured Kerberos constrained delegation.

I did some search on the forum and found some related articals, but the data source setting doesn't work (for excel source, the data source connection is simple and can't be changed; I also tried direct query from SQL server, same error and data souce connection setting doesn't help)
From the error mesage it seems report server still uses kerberos authentication, but installed everything on same server and use default authenticationType <RSWindowsNTLM/> in rsreportserver.config
Is it possible to work around the kerberos configuration for development environment?
Hi there,
I'm having exactly the same problem... works from a remote computer, error in local.
Has anyone got a solution?
Thanks
I reply myself...
my problem was Edge... when I use other browser it works!
Hi,
I'm having exactly the same problem.
Do you have to find a solution?
Thanks
An interesting new finding, when access remotely from other computer, it works. The error only happens when access locally
