powerbi-client Support on Power BI Report Server

Hi all,

 

We would like to embed the Power BI reports on prem into local web application and came across the Power BI Embedded (https://microsoft.github.io/PowerBI-JavaScript/demo/v2-demo/index.html#) and found that and Embed Token is required.

 

Based on my understanding the token has to be generated on PowerBI.com with Pro license. Can I get a confirmation the token and the APIs are applicable to on prem PBIRS before we purchase the license?

    blithechan The licensing of the Power BI Report Server already states that you need a Pro license for report authors that are publishing reports to the PBIRS... You should already have them.

      Thanks Anonymous. Do you know whether the javascript APIs are avaialble to on-prem PBIRS as well?
