Hi,
My dashboard works online, but after download .pbix I cannot open it on PowerBI desktop.
I have set a gateway to the SQL server for powerBI online.
Here is the error message on desktop:
“A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - No such host is known.);No such host is known. The exception was raised by the IDbConnection interface.”
If anyone can help thanks a lot.
P.S. Happy new year!

To make sure try to ping, telnet the sql server with respective ports
