Using Web Request Query for Power BI Report Performance

Hi All,

I am trying to connect JMeter Query with Power BI Report to obtain Performance metrics.

When we execute JMeter Test for PBI Report, it is returning few Query Data as shown below.

Now we are unable to find that given querydata is associated with which section of report?

This a sample QueryData Response:

Need help on:

1) How can we interpret this data to understand which particular section/Visual is sluggish or slow?

2) Some QueryData is returning VisualIDs, how to trace them in PBI Report?

Would appreciate your help in advance. Any guideline or reference would work.

Thanks,

Saba

1. Visuals create their own dedicated DAX queries. You can try to match them, but be aware that user interactions will modify the query filters

2. Use the Embedded Playground to fetch page IDs and visual IDs

@lbendlin Can you help with example for #2 in your mention ? Where do we need to write code to fetch these visual IDs ?

The Embedded Playground provides sample code for enumeration of report pages and visuals on pages.
