    Hi, Tom_Kowalski

    Check Data Source Credentials:
After publishing, navigate to the Power BI Service and configure the data source credentials.
In the Power BI Service, go to the workspace where you published your report.
Find the dataset associated with your report. This is usually named after the report or model.
Click on the ellipsis (three dots) next to the dataset and select Settings.
Under the Data source credentials section, you will see a list of data sources. Locate the external semantic model data source.
Click Edit credentials. Depending on the type of data source, you may need to enter the authentication method, such as Windows, Basic, or OAuth2.

If your external semantic model is hosted on-premises, you will need to configure an on-premises data gateway.

Ensure that the authentication method used in the Power BI Service matches the method used in Power BI Desktop.
