Using External Semantic Model in my report, not working when I publish report to PowerBi service
Hi there, Hopefully someone can help me. My report is using an external Semantic model for some of my visuals. I can connect to the external semantic model and connect tho the required tables within the external model. These tables are then visible in my list of tables on the far right hand side. Everything works fine in the PowerBI Desktop. But when I publish the report to a workspace in the PowerBI Service, the link to the external semantic model tables breaks, and the affected visuals do not work. The result is all afected visuals return an error: "An exception occured due to an on premise service issue" There is also an error across the top of the page which states that the data source is missing credentials and can not be accessed. Has anyone got any ideas of how to fix this? Has someone else had this issue?Solved1.7KViews0likes1Comment
