Using Data Flow with Gateway (Personal mode)

Good morning,

I would like to know if it is possible to use Data Flow with Gateway (personal mode), or I need to intall On Premise Gateway.

Also, I'd like to know if the gateway (personal mode) take the data sources or string conncetions from Power BI Desktop.
