Unable to connect to the remote server Table: Query1. But local refresh works.

Hi,

we have a .tsv file in Cosmos and script which uploads the data to azure data lake.

I have a simple dashboard which connects to the data lake and it works fine in PowerBI Desktop (I see the data and refresh works). However, when I upload it to our PowerBI app, the refresh (manual or scheduled) always fails with a message:

Unable to connect to the remote server Table: Query1.

Does anyone know how to debug this issue? Everything worked fine few days ago and suddenly none of the reports using

But local refresh works. I guess this is a transient server side issue of PBI or azure data lake. Could you pls let me know what's going on?

Our team is having the same issue,

However we are using sharepoint as our host for the reports with the data coming from MS Azure Data lake.

However every time we try to push a manual refresh or a scheduled refresh in the service we get the same error message:

Unable to connect to the remote server Table - "Table Name changes each time".

However i am able to refresh the dataset in desktop.

I have already cleared the Cache and deleted and reinstated all permissions as well so cannot think what else could be the issue.

Any help would be much appeicated.
