Paginated report refresh failure notification
Hi all, Just curious to know, is there any method available using which e can email alerts whenever a power bi paginated report refresh gets fail? For power bi reports, we have a default method available in power bi service to send email notification but for paginated repot, I can't see any such option. I checked power automate and as per my knowledge no such option is available there. Kindly help me with the steps or provide alternatives.
Scheduled Refresh Fails, Manual Refresh Succeeds
I have a Semantic Model that utilizes 5 data sources. One of the data sources (connected to Amazon Redshift SQL) keeps triggering a failure message 3-5 minutes into the scheduled refresh (error at the bottom of post). When I go into the connection settings, I see the password is reduced down to 8 characters (this might just be a visual thing, but either way). I then put the password in, Save, and trigger a refresh on the server again. This refresh always works. I've also tried making a new connection and replacing he existing one - same error occurs. So either the data source can't support scheduled refreshes or the correct password won't save. Has this happened to anyone else out there? Any ideas how to restore the automation to my refresh? Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. sh, repScheduled data refresh on Google Analytics on Server (on-premise)
I want to refresh my google analytics' data on the server (on-premise) and schedule it (not manually) but I get this error. I have founded this: "Not all Power BI Reports can have a scheduled refresh plan created on them. If data source can be connected using only OAuth (e.g. Facebook, Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.), then cache refresh plan cannot be created. At the moment, RS does not support OAuth authentication for any data source whether it is for paginated, mobile or Power BI reports." So does anyone know any other solutions? (Maybe using Flow or anything else?)
