Technical architecture - Power BI implementation

Hi

I am planning to implement PowerBI in my organization. Data source includes SQL database, excel files and web data. What is the best architecture for implementation of PowerBI considering data security, access control and performance. How can IT administrator ensure that relevant data is shared with appropriate users both when using PowerBI desktop and Power BI Service?

Do you own already Office 365? Do you have a cloud strategy?

If yes, Power BI Online is the best choice.
