Shared data source disappears

We use the powerbi report server 2017 on-premise.

When creating a shared data source the data source simply disappears. All steps go well including the test connection and when created no error appears. When hovering back the data source does not appear

 

PS

Uploading a  data source from an existant solution does work and will show the datasource. Creating a datasource from the web panel does not work.
