Does anyone have any details on how to use a power pivot on a Power BI server instead of in SharePoint? I know an OOS needs to be used and how to point the Power BI Server to the OOS server but that is about it. The link below says it can be done but I don't know how since I'm new to Power BI. I appreaciate any help!
"Ooh! And an Excel Power Pivot Report Rendered in the Browser by the Same Server.
(And just as importantly… no SharePoint required here!)"

Only setup instructions I could find: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/excel-oos#limitations-and-considerations
Thanks,
Scott

In another post I was told this feature isn't available in Power BI server but it is on the road map.
We were able to finally get it working by piecing the documentation together. Now that we have the PowerPivot spreadsheet uploaded, does anyone know how to refresh the data on a schedule? In SharePoint you can setup a schedule but I'm not sure how to do it in Power BI Server.
