Scheduled data refresh of all excel files in a folder

Hello,

I am trying to schedule refresh of a report where I use a custom function to pull in excel files from folders.  A new file is added every day.  The scheduled refresh fails because the datasource is dynamic.  Is there another way to do this that will allow the refresh to be scheduled on Power BI Report Server?

If you use the "Folder" source when building your query you should be able to do this.

I'm using the folder as a data source to get the list of files and then using a custom function that takes the folder and file name as parameters to pull the data from each file.  I'm assuming the second part is what Power BI server is considering Dynamic and failing.  

Are others able to schedule this type of process successfully?
