Scheduled Refresh not working from Report Server to Azure DevOps Server

Hello,

I am using a Power BI Reporting Server connected to Azure DevOps Server (Boards Only).

I can refresh my data successfully from Power BI Desktop, and connection from Report Server is saved and authenticated successfully. However, when I set the scheduled refresh from the Power BI Report Server it always fails with this error

: [0] -1056505856: COM error: Microsoft.PowerBI.ReportServer.ASEngineManagedRoot, The given data source kind is not supported. Data source kind: UnknownFunction..

Has anyone found a way to resolve or evade this problem?

Cheers,
Simon

Hi, @Simon_iTOD

There are limitations when you configure scheduled refreshes with Report Server. You are using Azure DevOps Server as a data source in near-live connection mode. Live connection mode is not currently supported in Report Server.
If you want to use Azure DevOps Server, you can publish your reports to Power BI Service and then configure scheduled refresh for them.
