SSAS data creating measures and using multiple cubes.

Hi All,

My company is providing me data through cubes and I can connect through powerbi to these cubes.

I can only use direct query to get the data (the database is big that i cannot use import).

I have two issues now:

1 - I would like to get data from multiple cubes in the same report

2 - Be able to create measures between data coming from either the same cube or from different cubes.

I have read that it is not possible to create a measure within the PBI report, however, it is possible to make it through the query to get the data. There is also a possible workaround to join data from 2 different cubes, by sub-reports ...

However, I have not seen any tutorial, training online.

Hi @MzaUser ,

I think at the moment there is no way to combine two SSAS cubes in Power BI. May be you grab all the data you need and combine them in one SSAS Cube and connect it then to Power BI. If you are in an on premises envionment I can't think of another solution :(.

Best,

Kathrin
