Hello,
I am updating a report that is published on Power BI Report Server using Power BI Desktop.
Each time I update a scorecard formula or add a new column to one of the tables, I don't see changes happen to my published report.
I tried saving the report with the same name and the replacing the existing report with the new one.
The only workaround I found is to publish a new report with different name, then I have to delete the old one.
Is there a way to fix this in a manner that after saving the file, changes are reported to the same published report or is it a feature that's lacking in Power BI Report Server?
I am new to Power BI and I've been searching a lot in the forums but I couldn't find an answer to this issue, I'd really appreciate your help here.
Thanks!
Hello @Anonymous ,
Thanks for your reply.
I am using this version of power BI Report Server.
The data refresh changes are displayed on the report, yes. But whenver I update a query or add a column to a table, these changes don't get refreshed and I receive this type of error each time.
This happened when I added a column to my table using Power BI Desktop and then I republished the report using the same name (replacing the old version).
Thanks.
Hi @Ayoub_1 ,
I can not repoduce the issue.Did you do a refresh after you uploaded?
I was able to successfully upload it here. Are there any other reports that have this problem?
