Report Server Dataset

Hi All,

I have created a dataset in my Power BI Report Server and when i create a paginated report on the server, I am able to use this dataset.

But, when I try to create a Power BI report, it takes me to the Power BI Desktop and I cannot see anywhere the dataset I added. Can someone help please?

Hi @pragyamishra,

As of now, it is not supported to connect to an existing shared dataset on Power BI Report Server when creating a Power BI report in Desktop. Shared data source and shared dataset are only support SSRS report.
