Refreshing data in power bi report server

Hi ,

 

Can anyone help me to understand how i can refresh data once i save the report in report server. The report was build on report server desktop version and saved on server. The data connection in desktop was made via ODataFeed using API in Microsoft CRM Dynamics(On-Premise).

To refresh data in your Power BI report in Power BI Report Server, you must create a scheduled refresh plan. You create this plan in the Manage area of a Power BI report on the report server.

1.Prior to creating a schedule data refresh plan, you need to set the credentials for each data source used in your Power BI report.

2.In the web portal, right-click on the Power BI report and select Manage. Follow the steps below to create a scheduled refresh plan.

 

For details,you can refer to How to configure Power BI report scheduled refresh 

 

Also here are some considerations and limitations  here that you may want to review before you start configuring your schedule refresh to see if they are met.
